In line with PUBG: Battleground developer’s growing portfolio, Krafton Inc. is launching the Krafton ID integrated account system. The titular program is officially kicking off on September 8, 2021 (EST).
What is Krafton ID?
Krafton ID is, per the official description, is an integrated account system that will share Krafton Inc.’s published titles. To date, only PUBG: Battlegrounds uses the ID system. Although, there are plans to incorporate other titles into it in the future. As such, players who register to PUBG: Battlegrounds will automatically into the system. Which is much the same for players who already play the game. Consequently, this also meant that any awards that players have in their PUBG account will carry over to Krafton ID. Although their personal or game data will remain immutable with them being under the same hands within Krafton.
Players can access Krafton ID’s ‘accounts-related services’ by logging into their account at accounts.krafton.com. Being an all-in-one hub for Krafton Inc.’s services, the platform also sets as a spot for promotions, involving partnerships and drops. However, as sophisticated as the issue of privacy is among online players, Krafton ID also promises to secure players’ data with it.
Overall, Krafton ID is being set up as an essential part of Krafton Inc.’s future plans. Basically, a compact solution that influences the way the game company coalesce future IPs, secure player accounts, disseminate promotions, and others.
