What Are the Details?

As of writing, there are not much to go by. However, there are a handful of information to go through, which will give some clarity on the up-and-coming tournament. In reiteration, the event has CDL franchise team OpTic Chicago as the spearhead, will have $100K as the grand prize, and will be held online via Twitch. Will-be viewers can take part in the competition by heading to either Call of Duty or OpTic Chicago’s Twitch channel on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 3 PM CT.

The line-up of participating teams is a bit of a mystery. While some names will have a surefire presence as competitors, others are not yet ascertained. But, as per the press release (thanks, Reuters), the following players may potentially be part of the event:

  • Brandon “Dashy” Otell
  • Dylan “Envoy” Hannon
  • Matthew “Formal” Piper
  • Jordan “General” General
  • Seth “Scump” Abner

Meanwhile, the following ensures participation in the $100 Warzone International:

  • Almond
  • Bartonologist
  • Blazt
  • Envoy
  • FeLo
  • Newbz
  • Nickool
  • OpTic MaNiaC
  • Shotzzy

As for the format on which the tournament will be going, suspicion tells that it could likely be custom where players load into the same match. Which, through consistency, has become a favourite among the community.
