Nikon Extends Free Online Photography Course With Workshops

Nikon Photography Class Room

Nikon’s free online classroom about digital photography will stick around for a little while longer, the company said in an official release published just now. Called Nikon School Online, the Internet initiative was coincidentally introduced at a time when a lot more people decided to get into digital photography by virtue of the fact they suddenly had a lot of free time on their hands.

You might have even heard something about this curious situation from the media. Anyway, Nikon School Online has been a huge success, which is why the course is now set to continue and even expand with additional content, provided there’s interest. This extension means you still have all of May to enroll and enjoy online activities, workshops, and “attend” lectures that will help you get the most out of your photography equipment, even if all you have to show for in that department is an old smartphone camera.

The super cool thing about this initiative is that it’s pretty non-pushy as far as PR stunts and elaborate content marketing scheme ploys go as you are in no way pressured or expected to own or acquire Nikon products. Definitely not a bad deal seeing how it’s free knowledge that is on offer here, and knowledge is a pretty awesome thing to have.
